Full Day Tour North-East of São Miguel

The day begins with a journey towards the north coast, stopping off at Ribeira dos Caldeirões, which belongs to the parish of Nordeste. Here you will be enchanted by a beautiful waterfall, traditional watermills and beautiful gardens. Passing through the picturesque village of Nordeste towards the scenic viewpoints of Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada, situated on the eastern tip of the island, you'll see the famous Arnel lighthouse. Onwards to the village of Povoação, where lunch will be served, passing through Faial da Terra. In the afternoon, we'll visit the centre of Povoação on foot, as well as the fishing port, where we can enjoy the tranquillity of the area. On the way back to Ponta Delgada along the south coast of the island, we'll pass through the village of Furnas where you can see its huge lagoon.
