08 April - Full Day Furnas Valley and Thermal Bath
Opening hours: 9am to 5pm
Departure from Ponta Delgada in the direction of Vila Franca do Campo, once the capital of São Miguel Island, with one of the Azores' best-known sweets and magnificent landscapes. The tour continues to the Furnas valley, with the option of a thermal bath in the morning in the Terra Nostra botanical garden with a swimming pool and natural jacuzzis. Lunch, served in a local restaurant, is the famous "Cozido das Caldeiras". Visit the boilers and fumaroles in the centre of the parish. The walk continues to the Pico do Ferro viewpoint, overlooking the largest and oldest caldera on the island. Descent to the north side of the island, stopping at the Santa Iria viewpoint. Return to Ponta Delgada.

09 April - Full Day Tea Plantations and the North East

Departure from Ponta Delgada for a visit to the Gorreana tea plantations, for years unique in Europe, with the possibility of tasting and buying tea. The tour continues to one of the biggest tourist attractions in the municipality of Nordeste - the Ribeira dos Caldeirões Natural Park, where waterfalls and watermills are surrounded by lush and diverse vegetation. The tour continues to the centre of Nordeste, a village with a beautiful architectural heritage, such as the Matriz de São Jorge and the churches of Nossa Senhora da Luz or the chapels of Nossa Senhora do Rosário, dating back to 1529. The village is known for its beautiful gardens and well-kept streets, where flowers seem to bloom on every corner. Moving on to the viewpoints in the north-east of the island: Ponta do Arnel, Ponta do Sossego and Ponta da Madrugada, these viewpoints are known for their manicured and colourful gardens that offer a magnificent view of the cliffs plunging down towards the sea. Lunch in a local restaurant. The next stop will be Povoação, located in the south-easternmost part of the island, where the first Portuguese navigators arrived. Viewpoint of Salto do Cavalo and return to Ponta Delgada via the north coast of the island. Dinner at the hotel

10 April - Sete Cidades Full Day with Pineapple Plantations ending at APT
Time: 10.30 a.m. to 7.30 p.m. | Duration: 08.00 a.m.
Leave Ponta Delgada in the direction of the Sete Cidades massif. Stop at the Pico do Carvão viewpoint from where you can see long stretches of both the north and south coasts of the island, as well as the central area, known as the Picos Zone due to the numerous volcanic cones. Stop at Lagoa do Canário. Continue to the Vista do Rei viewpoint, with breathtaking views over the Sete Cidades lagoon, at the bottom of an enormous volcanic crater. Descent to the picturesque village of Sete Cidades, an authentic portrait of rural life in Micael, with stops at the Lagoa de Santiago and Baía do Silencio viewpoints. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant. After lunch, the tour continues along the coast to the chapels, starting with a stop at the Escalvado viewpoint, overlooking the Mosteiros coastal area where the island's last two eruptions took place. The last stop will be at one of the pineapple plantations so you can get to know the peculiar way this fruit is grown in the Azores. Opportunity to taste pineapple liqueur (subject to availability). Return to Ponta Delgada, ending at the airport for the flight back to Lisbon.
